There
are four types of iron water, and all of then are undesirable
- Clear Water Iron.
When first poured, this type will be clear in appearance. However,
after contact with the air, the water oxidizes and turns it
red.
- Red Water Iron.
Water containing Red Water Iron will have a reddish tinge when
drawn, because the iron has already been oxidized. Red Water
Iron can affect the proper operation of water conditioner.
- Acid Water causes
corrosion of appliances and water systems, but can be treated
to minimize the amount of corrosion.
- Iron Bacteria is
most commonly found in toilet water storage tanks. This form
of iron can interfere with the proper operation of other water
conditioning systems.
The Purifiner Eliminator
Filter System will effectively control any of these iron water
problems. No chemicals are needed to clean the filter. Instead,
a powerful, automatic backwas, controlled by the Eliminator, thoroughly
cleans the filter with injected air acting as an oxidizing agent.
Incidentally, the Purifiner Eliminator uses less water that an
conventional greensand filter.
